#EastVanLove is a volunteer group dedicated to sharing the unique voices of Vancouver’s East of Main community. As a co-producer for five out of the nine tweetups, I helped bring hundreds of seemingly random people on Twitter together through a shared love for neighbourhoods east of Main Street. You can find more about EastVanLove at www.eastvanlove.org

I joined #EastVanLove as your prototypical “everything tech guy” and exited as lead project manager. I assisting in livestreaming, copy writing, social media marketing, event logistics, and overall project management. Due to the success of #EastVanLove 8: Journey to Now, Kimie Ong and I were invited to give a talk at Northern Voice Conference 2013. See our slides here.
